Chandrababu manages to rope in NTR family to defend Bhuvaneswari

Nara Chandrababu Naidu has finally succeeded in uniting all the family members of NTR. The whole NTR family, including two-time MLA and film star Nandamuri Balakrishna, came forward in support of Chandrababu Naidu. The family opened up and addressed a press conference on Saturday expressing solidarity with Chandrababu.
On Friday, a tearful Chandrababu said he would not attend the assembly till he becomes the chief minister of the state. Earlier, there was ruckus in the assembly over some comments made by the YSRCP MLAs which Chandrababu felt were insulting to his wife. The image of Chandrababu weeping inconsolably has created quite a sensation.
The NTR family tried to put up a united front and said that they have never seen Chandrababu crying all these years. They said they would not tolerate the criticism of the family members. They said late NTR had always respected women and gave them pride of place. They asked the YSRCP to desist from abusing the NTR family. Balakrishna is a two-time MLA from Hindupur and is a member of the TDP politburo. Yet, he chose to remain silent. In fact, except Purandeswari, no other member of the NTR family has reacted on the comments against Bhuvaneswari
All the family members of NTR were present. But Harikrishna's sons Junior NTR, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram were conspicuous by their absence. It is not known if they were tied down by prior engagements or film shooting.
