Is Chandrababu Afraid Of KCR?
By: Tupaki Desk | 9 Sept 2018 11:04 AM ISTChandrababu Naidu claims he is the cleverest politician around. He says he is the one who built Hyderabad. He claims credit for everything starting from moulding PV Sindhu's career to making Satya Nadella the IT honcho. He says his heart lies in Hyderabad.
But, the same Chandrababu has now said that he would not campaign in Telangana. He says since it is a neighbouring state, it is not right for him to campaign against KCR. His party is in alliance with the Congress. Yet, he is not ready to campaign in Telangana.
Remember what Chandrababu said after the 2014 elections. He said he would go to AP only after ensuring that a TDP government is in place. He said he would organize a slew of meetings in Telangana to boost the morale of the party cadre.
Today, the same Chandrababu is talking morals. He says he would not campaign against the TRS, but will align with the Congress to fight TRS. Confusing indeed! What about his promise of campaigning against KCR? Has he developed cold feet? Is he afraid of KCR? Is is worried that KCR might rake up the cash for vote case? Is he worried that KCR might open up on Chandrababu's wrongdoings? Is he afraid that his campaign will boomerang in AP?
When Modi as PM can campaign for his candidates in various states and when as CM, Chandrababu himself had campaigned in various states, what is preventing him from campaigning in AP? By keeping away from the campaign in Telangana, Chandrababu is playing it safe. After all, he is the national president of a regional party and it is duty to campaign for his candidates in every state.
