Finance Minister Arun Jaitley visited Andhra Pradesh Today to take part in the foundation stone ceremonies at Amaravati.
On this occasion, Jaitley said: 'Chandrababu has developed Hyderabad as one of World's best cities during his regime. Now, He got the opportunity to develop Amaravati as well. Centre is offering co-operation to Chief Minister. Amaravati will be a modern and beautiful city. I appreciate Chandrababu Naidu for winning the confidence of farmers in capital region and acquiring such a vast area of land. Chandrababu isn't alone. We are there with him. We have given more funds than what Congress sanctioned during its 10 years rule. Centre will be offering 2.03 lakh crore in this five years'.
The Finance Minister told Chandrababu Naidu is relentlessly trying to draw investments to AP. 'CBN's sole aim would be to attract investment whether he is in AP or Delhi or any Foreign Country. Chandrababu & Venkaiah keeps telling Me that AP should be given priority to overcome the aftereffects of bifurcation. We knew about the good face Chandrababu maintains. Polavaram project will be completed at the earliest,' he promised.
