In a shocking move, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu alleged former Chief Minister late YS Rajasekhar Reddy was involved in the assassination plot chalked out by Maoists to kill him in 2003. He accuses YSR of offering necessary financial support to Maoists and supplying mobiles through his supporter Gangi Reddy. He made this allegation in response to YS Jagan's call saying 'CBN should be shot dead in public for cheating people with false promises' at the public meeting in poll-bound Nandyal.
Just because a Chief Minister made a statement or allegation, That doesn't mean People would believe it blindly. Why didn't Naidu reveal that YSR is behind the assassination attempt until now? As that attack happened when he was a CM, He could have sent YSR behind the bars then itself if there is any truth in his allegation.
Chandrababu Naidu survived a landline blast at Alipiri on October 2nd, 2003. The court has even pronounced the final judgement in this case. What is the need for making such an allegation when the Leader, whom he accused, is no more alive?
