Telugu CMs Behind JD (S)-Congress Tie-up

Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy revealed who influenced him to choose BJP over Congress after the results of Assembly Polls 2018 were announced. He claims to have taken the decision based on the suggestions given by Chief Ministers of Telugu States apart from West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee.
In the interview given to 'The Week' Magazine, Kumaraswamy informed that he decided to form a Secular Government in Karnataka after holding talks with Telangana CM KCR and AP CM Chandrababu Naidu.
Here are the interesting points made by the Chief Minister in the interview...
1) Among BJP & Congress, More threat is from the BJP. There won't be any threat for JD (S) from tie-up with Congress.
2) Formed Coalition Government in 2006 against the wishes of My Father Deve Gowda. Alliance with BJP damaged the Secular Image we earned. To correct that mistake and protect Dad's image, I did use this opportunity.
3) I didn't agree even when Vajpayee sought our support in 1997. My decision took a toll on My Father's health.
4) My Father used to scold Me saying I am good for nothing. I would have been an IAS had if I studied well. I'm a backbench student.
5) I am a die-hard fan of Rajkumar. I used to watch his every movie.
