Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is upset and angry with his own MLAs. He is deeply unhappy with their performance and involvement in the party's outreach programmes . Not even 20 per cent of the MLAs have taken part in the Grama Darsini - Grama Vikasam programme. This has upset Chandrababu. Most of the MLAs, who are facing high level of anti-incumency in their constituencies, have preferred to remain in the constituency headquarters. They have not gone into the villages, fearing opposition from the general public.
Deeply upset over this, Chandrababu reportedly gave an earful to the MLAs. "I have dossiers of all of you. I know what you are doing and what you are not doing," he is reported to have told the MLA. A livid CM gave one month time to all the erring MLAs to visit the villages in the constituencies. He is reported to have shown the reports about each MLA in the meeting. Each MLA's visits were publicly shown so that they get their act together.
