CBN's Fuel Treat Under Congress Direction

Congress-led Opposition Parties gave a call for Bharat Bandh in protest against the rising fuel prices and made it successful. Even CM Chandrababu Naidu who keeps saying there is no use of bandhs refrained from making any negative comments on Today's Bandh call due to the good relations with Congress.
On Monday, AP Chief Minister announced in Assembly that VAT on Fuel has been reduced. This decision brings down the petrol and diesel prices in the state by Rs 2 per litre. It seems to be a calculative move to strengthen the bond with Congress Party ahead of the elections.
Though VAT on fuel in Telangana is less than AP, Caretaker CM will be under pressure to reduce the fuel prices after the latest development in the neighboring state. A decision of cutting down the tax on fuel is expected anytime soon.
