If not Special Status, At least Package?

In the wake of Centre making it clear that Special Status can't be granted, Chandrababu Naidu's Delhi tour gained prominence. AP Chief Minister is trying his best to make BJP Leadership realize how crucial a positive announcement on Special Status is going to be.
Speculations are ripe that Chandrababu Naidu opts for Package after he came to know from various sources about the firm decision of Centre not to accord Special Status for AP. Rumourmongers say, CBN wants the Union Government to at least announce Special Package in the ongoing Monsoon Session. TDP Government is off the view that its better to accept Special Package than Special Status.
Already, AP Finance Department Officials reached New Delhi with the proposals to attain the best package. Finance Department Chief Secretary PV Ramesh told that AP is going to get only Rs 3,000 crore more than what it is receiving now with Special Status. AP Government might be expecting a Special Package of anywhere between Rs 50,000 to 75,000 crore in the next three.
