The Governing Council meeting of NITI Aayog scheduled to happen on June 16th will be a platform where Prime Minister Narendra Modi & AP CM Chandrababu Naidu will come face-to-face with each other. PM, CMs of Indian States & UTs, and Representatives of Government Think Tank will take part in the crucial meeting in which development model for New India 2022 will be finalized.
West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee decided to give NITI Aayog meeting a miss due to rivalry with Modi. Whereas, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu is looking forward to attend the meeting and bring the injustice meted out to AP to everyone's notice. He might object the new guidelines adopted by Modi to implement the recommendations of 15th Finance Commission.
Initially, TDP Supremo contemplated on giving a miss to the high-level meeting. He, however, changed his mind after party leaders suggested him to expose Modi's true face in the presence of Non-BJP CMs and garner national media attention by attending the meeting.
