When award winning directors at the national, international level make a film with top stars, sometimes they will end up as disasters. We'll be surprised at the result thinking why did that happen? The fact comes out later that heroes involve too much in the director's work and made it a mess. There are several examples in the industry for this. A similar comparison is being heard for the AP capital city Amaravati designs.
Several renowned design firms who had wide experience at the international level have already submitted their designs to the AP Government. They have already constructed government buildings intenationally but they could not deliver good designs. There is severe criticism that excessive involvement of Chandrababu in the work of is the main reason behind this delay..and meaningless designs.
It has been two and half years since the designs for, but they are not finlalised till now. Even though government is claiming that they have finalised the designs submitted by Norman Foster company, no one could tell how many more turns this episode will take. It is to be remembered that Singapore based companies have submitted the designs two and half years back. But all those designs were changed in the next six months.
The government has choosen the renowned Maki Associates based in Japan later. When they have submitted the designs, they have claimed them to be exceptional. But these designs were scrapped because of the criticism comparing the designs with Chandigarh assembly .. factories and thermal power stations. Upset with AP government attitude, Maki associates complained on the AP Government.
Finally, AP government has choosen London based Norman Fosters as Master architect. They have been submitting several designs for the last one year. But Chandrababu said to be suggesting changes every time even though they have submitted the designs five times till now. High Court and Assembly designs have been finalised till now.. Secretariat -Raj Bhavan - New City - Flyovers.. etc designs are yet to be finalised. Some analysts are expressing their doubts how much time government will take to finalise all these designs?
In fact, Norman Foster has designed several great buildings worldwide. They have designed thousands of buildings from 1967. Germany Parliament.. Apple campus 2 were designed by this company. Norman Foster designed buildings in countries like Germany.. Japan.. America.. Malaysia.. Monaco.. Turkey.. France.. Argentina.. Scotland.. Canada.. Kajakhstan.. Italy.. China.. Britain.. Russia.. Hongkong.. Denmark.
