Sometimes, the cleverest of the politicians make the silliest of the mistakes. They plan bigger than the biggest and end up at lower than the lowest. Is Chandrababu making a similar folly by deciding to go to Dharmabad court in Maharashtra in connection with the non-bailable warrants issued in Babli case?
Chandrababu Naidu thinks 'No,' but most of his party leaders feel 'Yes.' Babu thinks by mobilizing huge crowds and leading them to Dharmabad Court, he can whip up sentiments and gain sympathy in Telangana. But, his acolytes say that war strategy tells that king should never pit himself in the war. He should plot and plan strategies and make his men fight the war efficiently. The leader shouldn't go down to the ground level and fight the war himself. Chandrababu going all the way to Dharmabad court is a case of king committing himself in a field battle. They field that this could boomerang on him. Many TDP leaders are advising him against going to Babli. They say he should fight a legal battle and not fight a field battle. But, Babu thinks he should take the courts head on and play martyr for Telangana.
Will Babu go ahead or will he listen to his followers? Will better sense prevail and Babu avoid unnecessary drama? Well, given Babu's fetish for publicity, he might very well choose theatrics over reason!!
