Pawan-Jagan War: What Is Chandrababu's Stand?
By: Tupaki Desk | 26 July 2018 7:24 AM GMTAP politics are taking interesting turns and twists. With the elections fast approaching, the politics is hotting up and the politicians are getting embroiled in slanging match. After all his flip-flops, Chandrababu Naidu is now pinning all his hopes on special status to Andhra Pradesh. The YSRCP on the other hand is trying to capitalize on growing disenchantment with Chandrababu among the people and his padayatra, which has helped build a favourable opinion about himself.
Pawan Kalyan wants to benefit from this two-way tusse and want to enter into a winning alliance. Though hehas been outwardly saying that he would fight the polls alone, he is actively seeking alliances. So, he is attacking both the Opposition as well as the Ruling Party. But at the same time, he is trying to identify a partner from among both.
As for Pawan, it is now becoming increasingly clear that Pawan Kalyan will not be able to focus on politics for long. He may not be in for long haul. His style of campaigning too is an indication of his style. If he campaigns for three days, he is taking rest for three to four days. He made some caustic comments on YS Jagan and the latter had replid in kind by heaping personal comments on him. This has led to a war of words between the two parties.
But, Chandrababu Naidu has cautioned his partymen not to get entangled in the war of words between Pawan Kalyan and Jagan Mohan. He is reported to have told the party workers to keep calm and not make any comments. Some of the TDP leaders started talking in support of Pawan Kalyan. So, Chandrababu asked them to keep quiet. Now, what is Chandrababu's game plan? Why is he asking his partymen not to support Pawan Kalyan? Does not not want to be seen as an ally of Pawan?
