CBN keen on Cable Car project
By: Tupaki Desk | 10 July 2016 11:05 AM ISTThe delegation led by AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu visited Kazakhstan capital Almaty. They went for a drive using the Cable Car to reach the tourist attraction 'Kok Tobe' which is the highest point of Almaty. This mountain is at a height of 1,100 metres above the seal level.
Impressed with the Cable Car, Chandrababu Naidu enquired with the Kazakhstan Officials about the cost of the project. He feels Araku and Tirupati will be best suitable for Cable Car projects.
Asthana is one of the beautiful capital cities constructed in the recent past. During this visit, Naidu appealed Kazakhstan Defence Minister Tasmagham Bethov to share how they have overcome the challenges during that point of time.
Mr.Bethov told it took 10 years for them to build the capital city. He, however, is hopeful that AP Capital could be completed within seven years due to the availability of advanced technology. He also advised AP CM to hire Kazakhstan Architects for the construction of Amaravati.
