Chandrababu Naidu has got the reputation of being the most tech-savvy politician in the country. Not many politicos would use the technology as extensively as Naidu does and it's an open secret.

After the launch of demonetisation, Chandrababu Naidu has been scouting new methods to promote cashless transactions. AP CM showcased the new technology by setting up stalls during the 2-day Collector's Meeting in Vijayawada.

As per the new method, Either Smartphone or Biometric Device (Finger Print Scanner costing Rs 1000 to Rs 2000) could be used for cashless payments. When a consumer buys a Rs 10 worth biscuit packet, He could make the payment to the vendor by using his finger print. Of course, This transaction would be successful if bank accounts were Aadhaar-enabled. Krishna District Collector Babu was honoured by AP CM at the Collectors Meeting for coming up with this new method. Naidu have plans to implement this method Nationwide if its successful in AP.
