An NGO named CodeForAP based in USA took up the mission of transforming AP into a digitally empowered and knowledge capital of the World. A Group of AP-born Techies in America have been taking part in the programme with the intention to payback to the homeland in whatever way they can. They offer services such as technology applications in e-governance, rural & urban development, health, agriculture and etc.,
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu claimed he was proud to say 2 out 4 Indian techies in USA are from AP while launching the CodeForAP at TANA & NATS on July 3rd this year. In his usual style, He said there is an opportunity in crisis and its time for talented individuals to join hands for a bright future.
AP CM motivated NRIs to take part in the development process of capital-less Andhra Pradesh. He appealed techies to strive for reducing the gap between Government & Citizens by working on people-friendly applications. Finally, He succeeded in making NRIs play a major role in building AP from the scratch.
