Things turned ugly after Srinivasa Rao, who is said to be Chandrababu Naidu's loyalist slapped Vishnuvardhan Reddy with his slipper.
The Andhra Pradesh wing of Bharatiya Janata Party condemned the attack on Vishnuvardhan Reddy. BJP Rajya Sabha member GVL Narasimha Rao alleged that it's the act of TDP and said that Chandrababu Naidu should condemn the incident if TDP is not behind this.
Looking at Kolikapudi Srinivasa Rao's background, he has a coaching centre in Hyderabad where he coaches the youth for competitive exams. He took part in Amaravati farmers' agitation and has been taking an active part.
According to the media reports, Chandrababu might field Srinivasa Rao as a TDP candidate in the 2024 polls. He is likely to be contesting from the Tadikonda constituency.
