That's why Jagan missed Venkaiah's Felicitation!

AP Government on Saturday felicitated M Venkaiah Naidu who had come to the state for the first time after becoming Vice President of India. Main Opposition has given an explanation regarding why YS Jagan had given the felicitation ceremony a miss.
YSR Congress Leaders alleged AP Government hasn't extended invitation to Leader of the Opposition in a proper manner. 'As per the practice followed since decades, Either CM or any of the Ministers should personally invite Opposition Leader for such non-political meetings. Though the date of felicitation ceremony was confirmed long back, An invitation was offered only one day in advance. It gave an indication that State Government doesn't want Opposition Leader to take part in the ceremony,' said a Senior YCP Leader.
Though he didn't attend the felicitation ceremony, YS Jagan has personally called Venkaiah Naidu to congratulate him. He recalled YCP has extended full support to Venkaiah when his name was proposed as NDA Vice Presidential Candidate.
