By: Tupaki Desk | 23 Feb 2018 6:12 AM GMTAfter accepting Special Package and remaining silent for four years, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu began accusing Centre of doing injustice to the state. Now, He talks about the Self Respect of Telugus.
Interestingly, Chandrababu commented few parties in AP won't seek Special Category Status. Did he forgot the manner in which AP Govt tried to prevent Peace Rally in Visakha by creating a curfew atmosphere? Opposition Leader YS Jagan wasn't even allowed to step out of Visakha Airport at that time.
Chandrababu Naidu asks Centre not to hurt the sentiments of Andhrites by neglecting the promises of AP Reorganization Act 2014. '14th Finance Commission ruled out Special Status for any state. Centre offered to compensate it with Special Package but AP received nothing so far. Even the Special Status was continued for few states,' he complained.
Actually, Centre took the decision to continue Special Status to some of the states long back. This news was highlighted by the media as well. Chandrababu Naidu didn't make a single comment then but he is now crying foul.
YS Jaganmohan Reddy and Pawan Kalyan have always maintained Special Package is of no use and AP need Special Status. All of a sudden, Chandrababu Naidu changed his stand after realizing there will be no future for TDP after Jagan & Pawan decided to move No Confidence Motion. It's up to the people to decide who is really committed for the welfare of people.
