Tie-up With Congress? Babu Evades Answer!
By: Tupaki Desk | 23 May 2018 2:19 PM GMTAP CM Chandrababu Naidu is well used to avoid tricky questions from media. He did the same thing on the day HD Kumaraswamy was sworn in as Chief Minister of Karnataka.
When quizzed by Media if he is ready to work with Congress after landing in Bengaluru for the oath-taking ceremony, Chandrababu Naidu maintained his intention is to strengthen regional parties to fight against BJP. 'Today, JD (S) formed Government with the support of Congress. It's a good sign. All the regional parties need to remain united to safeguard our interests,' he stressed.
For TDP, Congress is no more a major enemy as it used to be until Jagan floated YSR Congress. At the same time, Chandrababu Naidu couldn't ignore the fact that NTR floated TDP to end Congress rule. So, He attended the swearing-in ceremony but maintained a safe distance from Congress Leaders.
