AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu claimed he met PM and Union Ministers 20-30 times in the past 22 months for Special Status, Polavaram, Amaravati, Central Funds & Inter-State Issues. He told all of the issues AP has been facing could be resolved if Prime Minister fulfills his commitment given to the people of AP.

After the cabinet meeting on Monday, Chandrababu Naidu addressed Media to express his anguish over Centre going back on his promises to AP. He rued about the fact that promises made by PM Narendra Modi weren't fulfilled so far. He also reminded, 'When Congress offered 5 Year-Special Status for AP, Venkaiah Naidu & Arun Jaitley demanded that it should be extended for 10 years. BJP has got the responsibility to keep its promise. Willn't compromise in getting our rightful share from Centre'.

Naidu told Centre sanctioned just Rs 2,800 crore to AP when there was revenue deficit of over Rs 16,000 crore in the first year post bifurcation. He informs Rs only 1,300 crore and Rs 700 crore have been sanctioned for AP Capital & Backward Districts so far. He accused Centre of delaying Special Status & Railway Zone.
