Narendra Modi's decision to scrap existing Rs 500 and Rs 1000 with immediate effect has a huge impact on people from all walks of life. Finance Ministry announced Rs 100 and Rs 50 denominations will be released in huge numbers to curb Black money.

After taking part in the inauguration of cricket stadium in Vijayawada, Chandrababu Naidu claimed he advised Narendra Modi to abolish Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes to fight Black Money menace. 'I congratulated Modi soon after the official announcement,' he said, apart from stressing the need for a debate on new currency and wishes we should see the day when currency isn't in use by making every transaction online/card-based.

Naidu revealed countries like Singapore, Canada and Europe have scrapped currency notes in the larger interest of the nation. He opined this is first step to be taken to effectively put an end to Black Money/Fake Currency flowing into the country from Pakistan and Bangladesh.

How can Chandrababu claim Modi implemented his advice when GOI is planning to release Rs 2000 denomination notes from November 10th? Actually, The ground work for scrapping Rs 500 and Rs 1000 was happening since the last six months. Whereas, CBN has written letter to PM on this matter on October 13th this year. Now, Tell Me, 'Who implemented who's advice?'.
