Why So Much Hungama For One Day Fast?

AP CM Chandrababu Naidu planned day-long fast which was named as 'Dharma Porata Deeksha' at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium in Vijayawada on his birthday (April 20th).
Netizens have been criticizing the kind of arrangements being done for the deeksha by the State Government. A Sub-Committee comprising of 5 Ministers including Nara Lokesh was formed to take care of the arrangements. On the same day, TDP will be conducting TDP-Dalita Tejam Vijayotsava meeting after the end of deeksha. At least, Five People from every village will be attending this meeting.
The way TDP has been publicizing day-long fast so much is making Netizens question if it's a deeksha or celebration. Some of them questioned, 'When CM Chandrababu found fault with Modi's deeksha, How could he follow him now? It's been more like an event management. When Babu doesn't approve bandh call of Opposition Parties in AP, How could he conduct deeksha in the state instead of Delhi? Many deekshas have been conducted by Members of People's Organisations and Opposition Parties in the past four years demanding Special Status'.
