AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu paid a visit to Kodandarama Swamy Temple in Ontimitta of Kadapa District along with his wife Bhuvaneswari on Friday. The comments made by him while addressing the media has generated criticism.
Chandrababu: 'Kodandarama Swamy Temple has got a great history. To safeguard the history, We are developing this place in all aspects. Bammera Pothana has penned Ramayana here & dedicated it to the almighty...we need to keep that in mind'.
As per History, Bammera Pothana hasn't written Ramayana. 'Srimadamdra Bhagavatham', 'Veerabhadra Vijayamu', 'Bhogini Dandakamu' and 'Narayana Satakamu' are some of his popular works.
