Temporary halt for Kapu Agitation
By: Tupaki Desk | 1 Feb 2016 4:00 AM GMTKapu leader Mudhragadda Padmanabham finally announced that he is going to withdraw his agitation for the time being. Mudhragadda was blocking national highway with his vehicle since yesterday and he also set a deadline to government till Monday afternoon.
Mudragada threatened to sit for a fast unto death if the promise made by government of including Kapus into BC quota is not fulfilled. With the agitation withdrawn from the leader Police are busy clearing the national highway.
Meanwhile Several Trains halted at Tuni junction and traffic they are likely to be cleared very soon. Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu reacted on the matter in serious manner and said that government will not leave anyone who responsible behind the violence.
Naidu speaking to media reiterated that his government is committed to include the deserving sections of Kapus into BCs after due constitutional process. Naidu said that people resorting to such uncivilized activities was painful.
