Comedian Ali has been dreaming about contesting elections since several years. He aspired for Guntur East Ticket in 2014 Election but TDP Leadership offered him Sattenapalli Ticket. So, The Actor decided not to contest in the last elections.
Ali remained as a normal Party Workers for 20 years in Telugu Desam Party. It was only after he began looking at other parties, TDP Leadership began considering the candidature of the Star Comedian for the constituency preferred by him. CM Chandrababu Naidu agreed to offer Guntur East Ticket for Ali.
Currently, TDP Leadership is finalising the candidates in Guntur District. Sitting MP Galla Jaydev will contest again from Guntur Lok Sabha Constituency. Apart from Ali, Mahabub Sharif and Sheik Shoukad are aspiring for Guntur East Ticket. Ali earned good image with the social service he has done in Rajahmundry. He has been a successful Actor since the past 40 years. So, Naidu could prefer Ali instead of the two other aspirants. An announcement confirming Ali as the candidate might arrive Today.
TDP wishes to use the popularity of the Ace Comedian for 2019 Elections. Ali might be asked to campaign for the party all over the state and target his dear friend Pawan Kalyan whenever his services were needed.
