The bond between TDP and BJP has been weakening day-by-day. Union Budget 2018 has only complicated the situation. At this point, Reports of AP CM Chandrababu Naidu speaking to Uddhav Thackeray for forming anti-BJP Front went viral on Sunday.
Chandrababu Naidu has sensed trouble with the buzz doing rounds. Soon after the TDP Parliamentary Party meeting, He brushed aside the report as a mere speculation. 'I haven't spoken to anyone on phone,' he clarified.
Even Union Minister Sujana Chowdary confirmed no talks took place between TDP and Shiv Sena so far. With this clarification, TDP Leadership made it clear alliance will continue with BJP for now.
Analysts say, Chandrababu Naidu won't dare to oppose Narendra Modi anytime soon even if injustice is done to AP. At least, He should spoken to PM Modi, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and BJP Chief Amit Shah on phone after the Budget presentation to bring the plight of people to their notice.
