CBN & Lokesh House Arrested, YCP Plans Chalo Atmakur!

'Chalo Palnadu' call given by Chandrababu Naidu to express solidarity to the Pro-TDP Villagers who were allegedly forced to leave their native places has been successfully foiled by the AP Police on Wednesday. Cops have placed not only Babu & his Son Lokesh under house arrest at Vundavalli but also took preventive measures to curtail any sort of violence. TDP MLAs, MPs and Ex-Ministers were also kept under house arrest. Kesineni Nani, Devineni Avinash, Gollapalli Surya Rao and few other leaders were taken into custody at Prakasam Barrage. Prohibitory orders were imposed in Palnadu Region to prevent any demonstrations against the government.
TDP Leaders who attempted to meet Naidu at his residence weren't allowed to do so. Nara Lokesh who stepped out of his house found fault with the restrictions imposed by the police.
In protest against the measures taken by State Government, Chandrababu Naidu launched a fast from 8 am to 8 pm at his residence itself. He even asked party leaders and workers to observe day long fast just alike him.
The actual plan of TDP Leadership is to garner the attention of people across the state by holding rally with 127 families from Atmakur village in Palnadu. According to TDP, These families were taking shelter at the rehabilitation centre in Party Headquarters ever since they were hounded out of their houses by YCP.
Higher Officials tried to bring the situation to normalcy by convincing the Pro-TDP Families taking shelter at TDP Headquarters to return to their houses but only some of them agreed to do so. TDP accused Cops of preventing it from serving food to the victim families. Main Opposition alleged eight party workers were murdered and nearly 500 workers/supporters were attacked ever since YCP formed the government.
YCP, on the other hand, declared it's gonna launch 'Chalo Atmakur' rally with victims of TDP Government. Home Minister Sucharita dubbed the people who are taking shelter at TDP Headquarters as 'paid artists'.
