So, This Is Why Revanth Reddy Joined The Congress?
By: Tupaki Desk | 23 Aug 2018 4:10 AM GMTIf you thought that Revanth Reddy left the TDP to join the Congress on his own, think again. Latest developments indicate that Revanth Reddy has been carefully planted in the Congress by none other than Chandrababu Naidu himself.
Highly placed sources from within the TDP tell us that it was Chandrababu's foxy plan to send Revanth into the Congress. Revanth and Chandrababu are both involved in Cash for Vote scam and Chandrababu felt that the BJP might use this as a stick to beat him. So, he wanted to open a channel with the Congress. Revanth was thus carefully planted by Chandrababu himself. He would help bring both the Congress and the TDP together.
Now, Revanth is bringing both the TDP and the Congress together. He is playing a key role in planning an electoral understanding between the two parties. Sources say Chandrababu made Revanth to get into the Congress as he was not sure that the BJP would be pliable and accommodative. With the BJP adopting a hardline stance, Chandrababu was afraid that it could use the Cash for Vote case to corner him. To avoid that, he made Revanth go into the Congress. Chandrababu feels that the BJP’s popularity graph could come down and he would be able to exploit this situation by joining hands with the Congress. It would help him in getting the Cash for Vote case quashed.
But all this is inadvertently showing the fears of Chandrababu Naidu. He is mortally afraid of the BJP and Jagan's party and is worried that they would come to power in 2019.
