Huge blow to Chandrababu Naidu
By: Tupaki Desk | 29 Aug 2016 12:00 PM GMTThe ACB Court on Monday ordered for re-investigation of Cash-for-Vote scandal involving TDP MLA Revanth Reddy. This came as a huge setback to AP CM Chandrababu Naidu.
Mangalagiri YSRC MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy moved the court seeking inclusion of AP CM Chandrababu Naidu's name as the accused in cash-for-vote scam. He submitted the forensic report that confirmed CBN's voice samples matching with that of leaked audio takes. As a result, Re-investigation has been ordered and September 29th is being set as the deadline to submit the report.
TDP MLA Revanth Reddy was caught red handed bribing TRS Anglo-Indian Legislator Stephenson in the MLC Elections. Leaked audio tapes made everyone believe it was Chandrababu Naidu who gave assurance to the TRS MLA during the telephonic conversation. AP CM's name was included in the charge sheet but not as an Accused. All the four accused in the case got released on bail. One year has passed, but there wasn't much progress in the case.
