Chandrababu Should Stop Talking About Olympics

Count on Chandrababu Naidu for bombastic statements. His government has no money for laying roads, cleaning drains or even to pay the salaries, but Chandrababu says he would organize Olympics in Amaravati, which is still to take birth.
This is nothing short of comedy as holding Olympics is no joke. It involves years of planning and would take the efforts of the whole country. More importantly, it is something that the Central Government has to decide. The Centre has to bid for the Olympics. But, Chandrababu has no time for all these. He can make claims with utter disregard for fasts and possibilities.
Many feel it is time Chandrababu stops talking about this nonsense. They argue that he must first spell out what he is doing to promote sporting talent in the state. He has no plan nor allocations for sports promotion. And also Chandrababu should spell out where he is getting Rs 1.5 lakh crores that is needed to hold the Olympics. In fact, in highly corrupt states like AP, one may need 3 lakh crores to organize Olympics. So, it is time that Chandrababu stop talking of Olympics and start talking about developing the state.
