Chandrababu Songs NTR Tune: Desperation or Spontaneity?
By: Tupaki Desk | 20 April 2022 9:38 AM GMTAmid the crisis and problematic situation the grand old Telugu Desam Party is in currently, the party leaders and cadre have one thing to cheer about. It is the birthday of the party chief and former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu. Marking the occasion, the party leaders have planned a massive celebration across the state.
Party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu visited the holy shrine of Goddess Kanakadurga in the temple city Vijayawada. He offered his prayers at the shrine and later he was given the Theertha Prasadam by the temple priests. Following the protocol, he was given the traditional welcome when he entered the temple.
More than his birthday celebrations, Chandrababu Naidu's statements have made many heads turn. He said that the party was floated to safeguard the Self-respect of the Telugu community and he's focused on the same he assured that he will bring prestige to the Telugu community.
One wonders what made Chandrababu Naidu stress the tune sung by late Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, who had floated the Telugu Desam Party against the mighty Congress party. Attacking the Congress party for changing the Chief Ministers as it liked, NTR gave a call for the Telugu community during the campaign.
NTR's aggressive campaign was solely based on how the Congress party is not respecting the Telugu community as it operates from Delhi. With a slogan of protecting the self-respect of the Telugu people, NTR went to the polls and crushed the grand old Congress and became the first Non-Congress Chief Minister of the combined Andhra Pradesh.
Now the same tune is coming from Chandrababu Naidu. Did he make the comments out of desperation to get the much-needed political mileage or did the comments come casually? This is the big question. TDP needs to win the forthcoming polls at any cost or else it cannot survive.
TDP is in dire need of political mileage and the party leader might have thought of using the party founder's name to get the mileage. It is interesting to see how Chandrababu Naidu will lead the party in the next elections as it is in the worst ever situation. Back-to-back defeats have made the party weaker than ever. CBN is carrying a big responsibility on his shoulders now.
