Yesteryear Superstar Sridevi death news shocked the Indian movie lovers. It is known that Sridevi breathed her last at 11.30 PM on February 24 in Dubai. Her death news attracted the attention of global media as well. Sridevi's mortal remains were brought to Mumbai on February 27(Tuesday) night. A popular magazine based in Mumbai revealed the developments that took place at her residence on that night.

Considering the popularity of Sridevi police department deployed security outside the apartments control the crowds. As soon as her mortal remains reached her residence in Green Acres Apartments in Andheri, all the relatives who were present there started crying inconsolably. Anil Kapoor wife Sunita's nephew Poonam supervised the decoration of the entire house with the jasmines with the help of workers. The family members made sure that Sridevi looked beautiful with bright clour saree and ornaments as fans would get upset if they see their favourite star in such a condition.

Meanwhile, Karan Johar has taken the responsibility of receiving the guests who are visiting Sridevi house to pay their last respects. Apart from talking to the guests, it was Karan who looked after Sridevi's elder daughter Janhvi.

While Sridevi family members were busy with decorating the house and the vehicle for carrying Sridevi, the fans were eagerly waiting outside to have a glimpse her for the last time. They were very emotional at that time. Salman Khan visited Sridevi house to pay his last respects to Sridevi as soon as he received the information. The fans started shouting with enthusiasm when they watched Salman for a few minutes. That was the only time the crowd was cheerful.

Family members took the mortal remains of Sridevi to the Celebration Club for public viewing later. On the other hand, Yash Raj films owner Aditya Chopra looked after the arrangements in Vile Parle crematorium for the final rites.
