By: Tupaki Desk | 24 July 2017 5:59 AM GMTAmaravati, the proposed World-class Capital of Andhra Pradesh, is the dream project of CM Chandrababu Naidu. Now, TDP Government wishes to include a chapter on Amaravati in the School Books.
During the tele-conference with Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA), Chandrababu Naidu informed construction work of AP Capital would begin from Dussehra 2017. He told target has been set for completing Assembly, Raj Bhavan, High Court and Secretariat buildings by March 2019. CM welcomed involvement of Japan and Singapore Governments in construction of AP Capital.
Naidu directed Officials to prepare documentaries on AP Capital and Polavaram Project. 'Amaravati is a happy & world-class city. NRIs have been coming forward to invest in the Capital. A Museum will be set up highlighting the history of Polavaram Project. Include a chapter on Amaravati in textbooks,' he ordered.
What could be taught to students about Amaravati even before the completion of the capital city? Does Babu wants youngsters to know about Buddhist roots or Lethargic pace at which AP Capital is being constructed? Let's see!
