Charan Heroine turns down B-Town Biggie
By: Tupaki Desk | 10 Oct 2013 11:55 AM GMTAmala Paul's calendar is so packed that she turned down a high-budget film opposite one of the top stars in Bollywood. As of now, she is acting in three of the Southern Industries (Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam) and refusing to sign any new projects in the near future.
As per the sources, Makers of 'Gabbar' which is a Hindi remake of Telugu super hit 'Tagore' have approached Amala to play one of the female leads in the movie. To everyone's shock, she said 'no' to them citing dates issues even though the film stars Akshay Kumar in the lead.
Tollywood filmmaker Krish (Gamyam, Vedam fame) will be wielding the megaphone for his prestigious project. Acclaimed B-Town director Sanjay Leela Bhansali is producing it on his home banner.
In a way, Amala missed the golden opportunity to make a grand debut in Bollywood for being one of the most sought after actresses down South. Better luck next time Dusky Siren!
