Charan star power stuns Zanjeer Maker

Director Apoorva Lakhia got to know about the star power of Ram Charan only when he reached Hyderabad to shoot for 'Zanjeer'. "We were not aware of his star power while shooting Mumbai and it was only when we reached Hyderabad, we realised what he is capable of doing. We used to witness over one lakh people outside his shoot and even his flop film (Racha) collects Rs 48 crore at the Box Office. He is a Superstar of Tollywood," commented the filmmaker.
Apoorva Lakhia have no complains that Charan kept him waiting for one year to sign the 'Zanjeer' remake and he is now very happy with the way the film has shaped up with the Tollywood star's power-packed performance as a major highlight. Informing that the remake is different from the original, the director stresses that the new version will have more commercial elements to set the cash registers ringing.
The entire unit is on cloud nine with the superb response for the theatrical trailer of 'Zanjeer'. In just 48 hours, the high-voltage promo managed to receive over 8 lakh hits on Youtube. The critics and the movie buffs have unanimously given thumbs up for Ram Charan who showed a lot of promise while playing the iconic character ACP Vijay Khanna. Surely, 'Zanjeer' is gonna be a dream debut for Mega Powerstar in Bollywood.
