Charmee Kaur complained to High Court over the way Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been interrogating Film Personalities regarding the Drug Racket Case.
What's there in the petition moved by Charmee?
1) My actual name is Sir Deep Kaur Uppal but I'm popular as Charmee Kaur. Age - 30
2) Acted in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam & Hindi Films. Have done over 50 Films. Bagged Nandi Award twice in Telugu.
3) Ours is a respectable family. One of my family members would always accompany me when I go to shoots.
4) I neither consume alcohol nor take drugs
5) Few Film Personalities & A Section of Media kept making baseless allegations against Me. My reputation has been damaged. I don't have any links with either Drug Peddlers or Drug Racket.
6) My Parents doesn't stay here. As none of my friends are ready to accompany me, I request court to allow my advocate to be with Me during the interrogation.
7) SIT have been collecting Blood Samples, Hair Strands & Nails of few Film Celebs. This can't be done without the consent of the Individual. Being unmarried, I will have to deal with insults if that's allowed. So, I appeal Court to order SIT to conduct interrogation as per Constitution & Supreme Court guidelines.
