Chemical Factory in AP Catches Fire, Casualties Reported!

In an unfortunate incident, a chemical factory in Andhra Pradesh reported a fire mishap that resulted in six casualties and a few victims developing serious injuries. The rescue help was called and they gave their best in bringing the situation under control.
Going into details, a fire broke out at the Porus Laboratories in Eluru district in Telugu state Andhra Pradesh. The incident is said to have happened during the late hours of Wednesday. Gas leakage is said to be the reason behind the blast at the laboratory. After a reactor was blasted, a fire broke out shortly after and spread to almost all the corners of the factory.
As per the media reports, around 50 workers were inside the establishment when the fire broke out. While six people have breathed their last, around 13 people developed serious injuries. The victims were sent to the nearby hospital for treatment and the bodies were reportedly sent for autopsy.
Without wasting any time, the issue was taken to the notice of the police, and the rescue was called. The firefighters and National Disaster Response Force personnel rushed to the spot for the rescue. The cops said that a probe has been started to know the exact reason behind the disaster.
Speaking to the media after the incident, the SP said that the information and details of the incident have been gathered and they will know more information on the reason behind the fire mishap only after the probe. We don’t know if it happened due to a short circuit or any other reason. We have to find it out, the SP said.
Such incidents are happening at regular intervals in various states. Whenever such things happen, the issue of the safety measures arises and people forget the issue when a new one gets reported.
Many establishments start their work without following the safety parameters. Skipping the parameters makes it hard for the victims to escape or leave the facility immediately. It's high time that the owners should think about the safety of the workers and the governments should make sure that the guidelines are implemented without compromise.
