Here comes big shocker for IPL fans. In one of the most shocking turn of events, Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals teams were suspended from the IPL for two years.Some official members of Chennai super kings and Rajasthan Royals have been found guilty for betting on IPL matches.

As per reports Chennai Super Kings (CSK) team official Meiyappan and Rajasthan Royals co-owner Kundra were found guilty of betting in the 2013 edition. The punishment was handed down by a Supreme Court appointed three-member committee headed by former CJI R M Lodha. The Committee also imposed life suspensions on Meiyappan and Kundra

Announcing his verdict, Justice Lodha said Meiyappan was involved in betting and tarnished the image of the game. The panel revealed that Meiyappan had suffered a loss of Rs 60 lakh while betting on IPL matches in 2013 season. Kundra was also suspended for life from involvement in any cricket conducted by BCCI
