Maharashtra Government issued orders to jail authorities to lodged dreaded gangster Chhota Rajan in a high-security block of Mumbai Central Prison.
Most probably, Chhota Rajan who is one of the most wanted criminal will be taken to Arthur Road Jail in Mumbai soon after his deportation from Bali where he was arrested last week. High-Security Cell 12B which was specially built to keep Pakistan terrorist Ajmal Kasab who was involved in 26/11 Mumbai terror attack is likely to be allotted for Chhota Rajan. As of now, LeT Terrorist and 26/11 Terror Attack plotter Zabiuddin Ansari has been lodged in this cell.
Additional DGP BK Upadhyay wrote a letter to Maharashtra Government seeking deployment of Paramilitary Forces around the Arthur Road Jail for the security of Chhota Rajan. He confirms State Reserve Police Force will guard the gangster inside the jail premises and video-conference facility will be activated to keep any threats at bay.
