Political Parties have been using various strategies to win elections. Some of them have been resorting to manipulation using the Surveys and Opinion Polls.
Election Commission has imposed a ban on Surveys and Opinion Polls. State Election Commissioner Bhanwarlal said complaints have been received over the manner in which political parties have been influencing the voters with the help of news channels. 'EC imposed a ban on Surveys and Opinion Polls. Stringent action would be taken if any channel telecasts results of Surveys and Opinion Polls,' he said.
Any Agency or Media House can't reveal the results of Surveys and Opinion Poll until the Polling ends on August 23rd. Political Parties will be ending their campaign in Nandyal by 5 PM on Monday. Counting of votes is on 28th of August and the result will be announced within few hours as there are just over 2 lakh voters in this constituency.
