Finally OPS wins; Sasikala ousted from AIADMK!

All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam party has become the centre of all the political drama in the country from down south. Tamil Nadu and it's politics have never been devoid of drama that will make you stand up and notice. The party announcement in itself was a big big surprise as MG Ramachandran taking offense over comments by his long time friend turned foe, Karunanidhi about his political ability being a drama artist, an actor. A historical power battle ensued during the day and with Jayalalitha taking over the reins in 1988, the politics have took the shape of battle ground for both the popular leaders.
J. Jayalalitha emerged as 'AMMA' and she created history by winning election as incumbent going against the norm of anti-incumbent government taking over the baton and undoing everything by the previous government. This formed popular groups that support both the parties and the demise of AMMA, Jayalalitha in December created a vacuum and ruckus for the people and government as well. The then Chief Minister, O.Panner Selvam resigned to his office letting Sasikala take over the party and government. After resigning he came out in open exposing the truth against Sasikala alledging her for bullying him with the support of few ministers.
He said he was the true follower of AMMA and it was her who appointed him as her successor. The battle for succession ensued between Sasikala and O Panner Selvam groups. He divided the party and even threatened to win over Sasi group. But the strategist, Sasikala, made arrangements for resort arrest of more the 113 MLAs but in the last moment she got convicted in the assets case and her going to jail, and appointing her proxy, Edapadi Palaniswamy, made everyone think that ChinnaAMMA has arrived. But in the strange turn of events following, RK Nagar election, Sasikala and her family members were ousted from the party on Tuesday Night.
Totally, 115 MLAs supported the move and D. Jayakumar announced the news to eagerly awaiting followers. Earlier, Dinakaran belonging to Sasikala family, was caught while trying to bribe Election Commissioner to allot the two leaves symbol for their AIADMK group. The problem arised with O Panner Selvam claiming a stake on the symbol and Election Commissioner deciding to break the two leaves and allot single leaf symbol to both the parties. Since then Edapadi Palaniswamy and other MLAs have been worried about the symbol not being allotted to the party and to save the symbol the famous party representation, both the groups tried to come to a truce. OPS had only one demand to merge his party, ousting of Sasikala and her family. Finally, he achieved it and it looks like dead end for ChinnaAMMA and her faction now!
