Chiranjeevi Garu is Industry Pedda: Asserts Telangana Minister!

Veteran director and producer Dasari Narayana Rao falls among the very few directors who have crossed the century mark as a director. He had worked with three generations of directors and established himself as one of the legendary directors in the country not only in the Tollywood film industry.
Not only as a director, like a fatherly figure, or Industry Pedda, Dasari Narayana Rao too left his mark. After his demise, the question of who will take his position started. The Tollywood film industry had proposed a few names including the undisputed king of Tollywood Megastar Chiranjeevi.
Despite leading the Tollywood delation when the movie ticket prices issue popped up, Chiranjeevi said that he is not the big head but the son of the industry and he is doing all this as Telugu Kalama Thalli muddubidda.
Now the Industry Pedda debate had started yet again when a Cabinet Minister said that Chiranjeevi holds a responsible position and no matter what he is the Industry Pedda in the Tollywood film industry.
The Telugu Film Journalist Association held an event the other day to distribute health cards and other benefits for the Journalists. The event was graced by Mega Star Chiranjeevi, director Anil Ravipudi and Telangana Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav.
Addressing the gathering, Talasani Srinivas Yadav said that having good journalists is the biggest asset for the film industry and that is why the industry has been progressing and thriving. His comments made the film journalists cheer and clap loudly.
Talasani Srinivas Yadav had asserted that Chiranjeevi is the Industry Pedda. The Minister had listed out the good work Chiranjeevi made towards the industry. Chiranjeevi Garu had helped many journalists when the Covid pandemic hit. Through his blood bank, he has been helping people. It is appreciable that he is helping the needy, he said.
Whenever the film industry was in trouble, Chiranjeevi came forward to do his part to help. We have seen this during the Covid time and the movie ticket prices issue.
