Chiranjeevi Pays tribute to NTR, demands Bharat Ratna for the legendary actor

Today marks the 98th Birth Anniversary of Legendary actor, former Chief Minister of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh late Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, fondly called as Anna Garu. On this occasion, celebrities, politicians, and fans are remembering the legend today.
Joining the force, Megastar Chiranjeevi has also remembered the matinee idol and batted for the demand to honour the mass leader with Bharat Ratna, the highest civilian award. He said, if NTR gets Bharat Ratna, it would be a proud moment for Telugu People.
In a note he shared on his Twitter handle, Chiranjeevi said, like how famous singer and musician Bhupen Hazarika was awarded Bharata Ratna posthumously, NTR should also be honoured with the award and said it would be a proud moment for Telugu people Bharat Ratna is announced for NTR.
As we are going to celebrate the centurion birth anniversary of the great leader, the government should honour him with Bharata Ratna, Megastar added in his note written in Telugu.
The legendary actor left us on the 18th of January in 1996 at his residence in Hyderabad. He was 72 when he passed away.
The demand to honour the leader, who fought for the Self- Respect of the Telugu community is not a new one. The demand has been going on for quite some time. Let us hope that the Centre honors the people's leader.
