Chiru's take on his Political Career
By: Tupaki Desk | 21 Aug 2015 11:38 AM GMTChiranjeevi is the undisputed king of Telugu Cinema for a period of two decades. His downfall began with his party's defeat in 2009 General Elections and he gained nothing during his brief stint as Union Minister after merging PRP with Congress.
During a recent interview ahead of his 60th Birthday, Chiranjeevi said no other politician might have gone through so many variations (Party President, MLA, MP, Union Minister) in a span of just 7 years. He did admit his stint as a Union Minister when State bifurcation happened has costed his political career. He now wishes to fight for fulfilling the Special Status promise given by Congress government.
Chiru describes Narendra Modi as a man of only words and the development he promised can't be seen during NDA regime. He claims to be having the belief that Congress is the future and promised to work with anyone for achieving Special Status.
