Chiranjeevi has influenced few generations with his films and many of the Industry folks who were enjoying stardom Today are still his fans. One among those millions of admirers is crazy filmmaker Puri Jagannath.
On the occasion of Chiru's 58th birthday, Puri commented, "Mee Cinemalu Choostu Perigamu. Kani Meeru Maaku Oka Cinema Bakipaddaru. Adi Eppudu" (We grew up watching your films, but you still owe us one film. When will we get paid?)
It's not just Puri but everyone who conveyed their wishes to Chiranjeevi on Yesterday wished he acts in his 150th film to enthrall the movie lovers yet again. Interestingly, Most of them didn't bother to say that the actor reaches greater heights in politics. That indicates the amount of impact he has created as an actor and politician.
After his 149th film 'Shankardada Zindabad', Chiru floated a party of his own, merger it with ruling Congress after the poll debacle and currently doing services as a Union Minister in UPA Cabinet.
