Chiru to play cupid for BJP-Jana Sena's political marriage

Did Mega Star Chiranjeevi get an invite for a discussion on a key issue with the BJP? The film and political sectors in AP are abuzz with the talk of BJP's invite for a meet with Chiru. While no one is openly commenting, the buzz is continuing in drawing room discussions in the political circles.
As of now Chiru's younger brother Pawan Kalyan and his Jana Sena have allied with the BJP and are working on a common programme. But, the BjP has some plans for him for the 2024 elections. As part of these plans, the BJP wants Jana Sena to merge in the BJP and take over the leadership of the party in AP. The BJP will work under the leadership of Pawan Kalyan, who will be given key post at the national level. However, Pawan Kalyan is said to be in two minds on this proposal. He has not yet spelt out his opinion. So, the BJP is said to have asked Chiranjeevi to play the mediator and convince Pawan Kalyan. Sources say, Chiranjeevi has consulted his family members on this proposal and is believed to have okayed the proposal.
But, questions still remain. As of now, Chiranjeevi is still a member of the Congress Party and has not resigned from it. Secondly should be work for BJP even while he is still a member of the Congress Party? Thirdly, he does not want his brother to face the same troubles that he had faced when he merged his party – the Praja Rajyam Party – into the Congress Party. Hence he is going slow on the proposal.
