AP CM Chandrababu Naidu decided to offer Chittoor MLC Ticket to late Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu's Wife Saraswathamma.
On Saturday morning, Gali Saraswathamma & other Family Members met Chief Minister in Amaravati. Both the Sons of Gali competed to bag the MLC Seat which fell vacant with the sudden demise of their Father. So, Chandrababu Naidu preferred Gali's Wife to put an end to the lobbying and family dispute.
Chittoor MLC By-Elections is slated to happen on May 21st. The by-poll schedule has been released by the Election Commission few days ago.
Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu was one of the influential politicians in AP Politics. He, however, faced defeat in 2014 Polls in Nagari Assembly Constituency because of a strong opponent candidate (RK Roja - YSRC). CM offered him MLC seat because of his seniority and services to the party.
