Chocolate Boy makes controversial statement

It is known that Shruti Haasan has done the role of Karachi-based prostitute in her upcoming Bollywood flick 'D-Day' and while doing such roles actresses have to indulge in over-exposing.

To a question on skin show in D-Day, Shruti Haasan replied,"I have done so based on the script. No one would refuse when a script demands the actors to perform or behave in such a manner. I won't say the scenes are bold but they were very sensual. I couldn't turn down the offer when I was approached for the role as it's the most challenging character so far. I am glad to be part of this project. "

Shruti Haasan will be seen as a Muslim girl in the movie. She is showing a lot of versatility alike her legendary father Kamal Haasan when it comes to choosing roles and also in terms of performing onscreen.

D-Day is based on the plot of Indian RAW division to catch India's most wanted Dawood Ibrahim during the time when he was going to attend his son's marriage. The film features Arjun Rampal, Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan in pivotal roles. The movie is slated for release on June 19.
