Telangana Eamcet 2 Paper Leak Scam
By: Tupaki Desk | 27 July 2016 11:43 AM GMTCID Officials have confirmed the leakage of Telangana Eamcet-2 question paper two days before the examination. The deal have been closed for Rs 15 crore and two people have been taken into custody in connection with the scam.
Scamsters have collected Rs 10 lakh from each of the 30 Students appeared for the Examination after receiving the leaked Medical Entrance Examination paper from them in Mumbai & Bengaluru. Students practiced the answers of the leaked paper in Bengaluru and obtained a good rank in the exam.
CID Department came to the conclusion that the Gang which leaked PG Medical paper is behind Telangana Eamcet-2 leakage. Police teams have been carrying out the investigation in Bengaluru, Mumbai and Kanigiri in Prakasam. One of the accused identified as Ramesh has been taken into custody.
Few Students who performed poorly in AP Eamcet managed to very good rank in Telangana Eamcet, leading to many doubts. After receiving several complaints, Telangana Health Minister Lakshma Reddy ordered for an inquiry. CID found out enough evidence to confirm the scam.
