Citing Harassment From Leaders,volunteers Make Mass Resignations!

The volunteers in Chittoor district have shocked the Andhra Pradesh government by announcing mass resignations on Friday. Citing the harassment from the EO and YSRCP leaders as the reason the volunteers have resigned from their posts.
As a bid to show their anger against the harassment they face, the volunteers have called for a protest outside the Pakala MPDO office. They have demanded that EO Kusumakumari should be suspended from her post for harassing them.
Alleging that a few YSRCP leaders are also harassing them, the volunteers are also demanding that strict action should be taken against the leaders for harassing them and making it difficult for them to render their services.
Earlier,32 volunteers in the Vizag Manyam area have resigned from their jobs saying that they are allegedly facing issues from the police. They said that despite doing their duties in the area, they are reportedly having issues with the cops on the grounds of alleged links with the Maoists in the region.
They even said that the officials are not responding to the complaints they made about the cops harassing them. With no other option left, they had opted to resign from their jobs, the volunteers said.
